Every date below is a performance date. Home games mean a full halftime show at the Irwin Belk Complex; travel dates mean the IIOS is on the road with the Golden Bulls.

When football ends, the Pep Band picks up the basketball season, the Symphonic Band takes the spring, and the Institution keeps a presence at university and community events all year.

November – March · Pep Band

  • The annual CIAA Basketball Tournament
  • 90% home-game attendance required for tournament travel

Spring · Symphonic Band

  • A minimum of three full-length concerts each year
  • Freshman Convocation

Year-Round

  • Parades and exhibitions across Charlotte
  • High school band competitions and clinics
